h2. Changes to Licensing News

Licensing News is a document published by Westminster City Council each week. Licensing News has previously been sent out on a Friday. This is changing and it will be sent out on a Monday. Some other changes have been made, for example it now contains a link to the City Council’s Licensing Register where details of applications and licences can be found.

It is a very useful source of information for residents who wish to keep up to date with licensing developments in their area. It contains details of applications for new premises licences or variations of premises licences, which are still in the consultation period where residents can make their views known. It also details what licences have been granted or refused in the previous week, and lists forthcoming licensing Sub-Committee hearings and appeal hearings.

The document is sent out by email and anyone can ask to be added to the mailing list; simply email premiseslicensing@westminster.gov.uk with a request to be added. Licensing News can also be found on the City Council’s website here
